A jogging route suitable for light but fast running is definitely that of the Giordano Cuttur Cycle-Pedestrian route, with entry from Draga S. Elia.
The Cycle-Pedestrian route starts from via Orlandini in Trieste and reaches Hreplje in Slovenia; it has a total length of 16 km, but it is possible to start from other entry points, varying the kilometres. for example, I started from Draga S. Elia and only did 10 km.
The route is excellent in every season, in summer and winter.
