Rich in works of early medieval art, Cividale del Friuli is one of the unmissable destinations in Friuli Venezia Giulia. It preserves precious evidence of its Lombard past and is the starting point of the UNESCO itinerary dedicated to the legacy that this mysterious people left to Italy. And the surroundings? Colored woods, pristine mountains, streams that flow steeply between ravines, waterfalls and spectacular caves: these valleys attract both the most daring sportsmen and those who love walking and cycling.

Cividale del Friuli
It is one of the most pleasant historic towns in the region: among testimonies of Lombard art, puppets, artisan shops and historical places, do not forget to include in your walk the Natisone bed, which can be reached by descending from the Devil's Bridge.
Despite the historical link with Italy, the Natisone Valleys maintain their original language and traditions, which are Slovenian and enrich these lands with peculiar legends, popular festivals and gastronomic specialties. In the Torre Valleys, on the other hand, there is one of our most renowned wine areas, the “Friuli Colli Orientali” DOC. If you are passionate about wines and want to know more, here is a real academy.
Finally, in this area there are also two religious destinations with a thousand-year history.
