Pleasant loop hike in Claut to discover a casera located in an enviable position, starting from the beautiful Pussa Refuge and returning via an easy forest road through the woods.
Looking at Rifugio Pussa we take trail 364, which, on the right, climbs up the slope behind it.
We climb uphill through the forest to the fork, where we descend on the left (trail mark 366a) to cross the Stuèt stream. On the opposite bank, the trail climbs to the fork for the Fageron de Stuet, where we take a left and begin to climb in altitude. We reach the deep incision of Ciol de Tome, pass it and begin the most challenging part of the hike: the trail climbs very steeply in the woods for a hundred meters of elevation gain. The trail then becomes elevated, suspended on the wooded slope (beware that in some places it is quite narrow).
Suddenly, the elongated green hollow opens up at the end of which stands Casera Col de Post (1249 m). With our backs to the casera, in front of us run some wooden posts painted white and red: at the bottom, the attack of the descent path.
We follow the beautiful mule track downhill without ever deviating until we reach the Val Settimana road, which we take to the left to reach Rifugio Pussa.
