Ski insurance

From January 1, 2022, pursuant to Article 30 of Legislative Decree no. 40/2021, the customer who uses the alpine ski runs must have a valid insurance that covers civil liability for damage or accidents caused to third parties.

PromoTurismoFVG, on request, offers an insurance policy for civil liability together with the skipass, to cover damage caused to people or things. Please note that as far as foreigners are concerned, policies (both daily and annual) are only valid on Italian territory and not abroad.

The Snowcare insurance policy, valid for one or more days (€4.00/day), protects you and yourself, as well as others; it is designed for all skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, amateurs and competitors, alone or in groups, as well as for children. This year you're covered even if you can't go skiing due to illness or quarantine before the start of your ski pass's validity.

Multisport is the insurance product linked to the seasonal ski pass; valid for one year for all sports worldwide, it protects you and also protects you against any damage to others while practising any sport:
Individual costs €49.00 and you can customise your Multisport with the family version for €99.00.

Snowcare covers you in case of civil liability - compensating for damages you may unintentionally cause to third parties during sports activities - and in case of injury. It also guarantees reimbursement for medical and rescue expenses in the event of an accident.
For multi-day ski passes, with a minimum of two consecutive days, or seasonal passes, the insurance coverage also guarantees additional reimbursements:
• Refund for unused ski pass due to injury
• Refund for ski equipment rental due to injury
• Refund for unused ski lessons due to injury

The insurances can be purchased
1. at the cashier's desk together with the ski pass*;
2. online*:
Snowcare  (valid for one or more days)
Multisport  (valid for a one year)

The insurance policy is valid exclusively in the event of intervention by the ski patrol and/or law enforcement at the location of the incident. Keep both the ski pass and the purchase receipt, as they serve as proof of coverage purchase.

*It is announced that the Multisport insurance purchased online has an automatic renewal clause, while if it is bought together with the ski pass at a ticket office, it is exempt.
