The river Stella, the main feature of Palazzolo dello Stella

Today, I am taking the opportunity to introduce you to the river that crosses my little town in the south of Friuli, and which gives it its name: the Stella. It flows through both the centre of town and through Piancada, the larger village that forms a part of Palazzolo. It is a very pleasant and quiet spot, great for walks and bike tours, thanks to the nearby cycle trails and paths.
