Visiting the Natisone Valleys to discover their votive chapels

One beautiful Sunday in the early spring, with our friends of the Planinška Družina Benecjia mountaineering association, we visited the Gothic votive chapels of Santo Spirito in Spignon and the little church of San Donato.

The Slovenian mountaineering association of the Natisone Valleys now has more than twenty years of experience and activity and manages the Dom Na Matajur-Ko?a mountain hut on the Matajur.

The main purpose of the association, apart from promoting everything to do with mountains, is to keep the Slovenian linguistic tradition of the Natisone Valleys alive.
