Walking in Sauris

People go to Sauris for peace and quiet and close contact with nature. During the winter, you can make the most of fine, sunny days and go for relaxing walks in the woods near the massive Mt Bivera and on to nearby Cadore.

The bracing air, the rustling of the leaves underfoot and the call of some far-off animal characterise this “total immersion” experience of nature. In the evening, go to one of the many little restaurants in the area to enjoy the local cuisine and sip an excellent craft beer.

Kevin Feragotto

I’m 22 and I hail from Artegna, in the province of Udine. I’m a graduate in animal production. Gourmand and future sommelier. I feel strongly attached to my region and its products, I’m always looking for new food/wine pairings to excite even the most discerning palates. I have great respect for traditions but I focus on innovation. A lover of nature and especially of country life. I champion the simple, healthy lifestyle.
