This stage follows an itinerary which is completely in Italy, leading through charming villages, panoramic viewpoints and historical sites. Although it partly overlaps with other routes, it still maintains the thematic thread of the Great War.

This hike does not involve excessive difficulties and offers visitors the prospect of being surrounded by meadows, woods and characteristic small villages in a predominantly hilly area. This part of the itinerary, which for the most part coinceeds with the itineraries of the Alpe Adria Trail and the Grand Italian Trail, leads to some of the most important defensive points of the Italian front in this area. Here the hiker will discover mamories and experience this defensive landscape, walking tis path step by step, without being completely detached from the surrounding rural landscape, which offers a decidedly pleasant local environment.
