About 350m from the permanent artillery battery "Upper Ragogna", you can see the Wolf Rock (Cret dal Louf in Friulian language), a rocky outcrop located at the north-eastern end of Mt. Ragogna. In 1916, the Italians built an entrenched stronghold consisting of several walkways and a machine-gun pit. Here, you can easily understand the importance of this location, which offers clear views of the territory below, especially over the Cornino Bridge and the Tagliamento River.
