Bonnet of a “Topolino” From Caporetto (Kobarid, Slovenia) to Miramare castle, the forty Fiat Topolino cars arrive in Trieste in the famous Piazza Unità d'Italia. Here, under the vault of a blue sky in late spring, the illustrious buildings provide the backdrop for the various colours of these legendary cars. They stand before the passionate eyes of their owners, from noon to six in the afternoon, making the main square of the capital of our charming region more picturesque than ever. The stuff of dreams in another era, now they attract the curious looks of passers-by who stop to admire their shapes. View of the parked “Topolinos” In the late afternoon, they set off again in orderly manner towards the Molo Audace jutting out into the sea. Here, in Piazza Grande, they make a fine display. From the star-shaped city, they set off once again to finish their journey at Castions di Strada along the Via Napoleonica. Antonio Panciera

I pace steadily through the art and culture of Friuli. I enjoy getting lost among the villages discovering ancient moods. I am a passionate storyteller of events, told through photography, which has always been a powerful companion to me in writing signs of light.
