Thousands of things to do in fairytale natural surroundings
It comes naturally to immerse yourself in these fairytale scenes, where it's never crowded, and where you can do relaxing walks, or go cycling or pony trekking along a network of signposted routes or rough tracks that wind their way through woods, meadows and villages. And for golf lovers there are seven 18-hole golf courses.

For the more adventurous there is rock climbing and mountaineering on high mountain paths leading to mountain hostels, hang gliding and paragliding, canoeing and kayaking on crystal-clear streams and pearl-like lakes.

Nature parks and caves waiting to be discovered
The numerous nature parks and reserves, inhabited by chamois, wild goats and birds of prey, have a totally unspoilt natural environment, where you can enter into the heart of the rocks in caves and canyons.

Different emotions, the same intensity:

• the Friulian Alps, where you can watch the flight of the eagle and see flaming sunsets
• gentle rolling hills with a carpet of vineyards, like Collio, or with majestic rivers, like the Tagliamento, where little country tracks take you to breathtaking scenic views, different at every bend in the road
• the suspended atmosphere of the lagoons of Grado and Marano, that can be discovered in motor launch excursions
• the sea lapping against the soft, long beaches of Grado and Lignano or the little bays around Trieste, accessible also by boat.
