Located just a few kilometres from Tolmezzo, the largest town in Carnia, Arta Terme is immersed in a peaceful setting with plentiful fresh air, where a modern SPA welcomes you with health packages and many treatments, from thermal water and mud treatments to rehabilitation and physiotherapy. Underlying them all are the beneficial properties of the mineral water emerging from the Pudia spring, known and used since ancient times. This mineral water contains sulphates, calcium, magnesium and sulphur and flows at a temperature of 9 °C; it is particularly beneficial for the prevention of certain diseases.
The Water Palace hosts a large wellness area, saunas of varying temperatures, Turkish baths, multisensory showers and Kneipp cures. It is ideal as an après-ski destination or for a regenerative break at any time of the year. In addition to the heated pools with still water and hydromassage, a new pool (partially uncovered) with water games, river and slide for children has been added since December 2023.
The Arta Thermal Baths are accessible to people with mobility impairments.
The pools are equipped with a hoist and grab rails along the sides.
From 13 June 2026, the wellness and sports facilities will once again be open to the public. Swimming pools, saunas and the gym are currently available. The healthcare area (spa treatments, medical consultations and diagnostic services) will be activated at a later stage; the opening date will be announced as soon as it becomes available.

- Saunas: Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm; Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm
- Gym: daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
