Explore the magical nature of Friuli Venezia Giulia, choose among 55 trekking paths signposted by CAI (Club Alpino Italiano), that wind along the whole Alpine range (Carnic Alps, Julian Alps and Friuli Dolomites) and in the plateau of Carso, which overlooks the Adriatic sea.
Have you ever been trekking with… the elves?
You will go into woods, where the big trees seem to breathe together with you and where you might see the curious Carnic elves: called sbilfs; you will go across clearings where smugglers ventured stealthily in the past; you will discover enchanted lakes, Alpine hamlets built of wood and stone, watermills, Roman aqueducts, ancient churches and caves.

The itineraries are tourist or tourist-hiking level: therefore accessible to everyone; just for some paths you need a little more exercise.

Via Alpina
Friuli Venezia Giulia is crossed by the so called Via Alpina, it is an innovative European project that aims to realize equipped routes. Along these routes you will find welcoming stages offering accommodation and luncheon.
The horse trails of the Cormor Valley
The Horse Trails of the Cormor Valley is a 30 km long stage route that you can cross on foot, by bike or horseback enclosed by fairytale landscapes.
