Cycle tourism - Lignano Sabbiadoro by bicycle
If you love bicycle riding you can accompany your child on free cycle tourism excursions with a guide, organised four times a week starting from Terrazza Mare di Lignano Sabbiadoro (Lungomare Trieste): pedal in the direction of Lignano Pineta and towards the Marano lagoon or towards the Tagliamento river or Marano Lagunare and Latisana returning with a motor vessel. Trips starting from Lignano Riviera are planned twice a week. From this year excursions to Aquileia or Marano Lagunare/Strassoldo Castle. If you want to pedal without any fixed destination over 20 km of cycling paths cross the area. You can hire a bike free-of-charge at Terrazza Mare or at the Lignano Pineta Infopoint. Bicycles and rickshaws can be hired throughout the territory (not free-of-charge)…
Nordic walking
Not only in the mountains! Nordic Walking excursions along the seashore were new last season and are available again this year. Starting from Terrazza Mare and off to explore the stretch of sand thanks to the equipment provided free-of-charge. Beach village
Beach office n°4 of Lignano Sabbiadoro, lungomare Trieste 5, is where the fun is at! Every day from 9.30 am to 12.00 pm and from 4.00 pm to 6.30 pm. "Anima vera" with artistic director Maurizio Zamboni, postman in the Canale 5 programme "C'è posta per te" (You've got mail) offers various activities: warm up, body tonic gym, spinning, aqua gym, group dances, stretching, baby dance and evening shows. Lessons in macumba every Saturday and Sunday (10.30 am and 4.45 pm) , an explosive mix of fitness and dance accompanied by Latin-American music.
Wellness on the beach
The bathing beach n.13 Lidocity offers its guests a fitness path: Tai Chi, Shiatzu massages and plantar reflexology treatment. And for children aged between 4 and 10: Playful Yoga.
Tennis
Numerous tennis courts are at your disposal both at Tennis Minigolf in via dei Giochi in Lignano Sabbiadoro and the Centro Vacanze Albatros (Via Sabbiadoro 1;Lignano Sabbiadoro;+39 0431 71508). In Pineta you can play in Arco della Vela and in Riviera at the Hotel delle Nazioni in Corso delle Nazioni.
Golf
There is also a 18 hole golf course in Lignano with large fairways in the Riviera area.
