Ecomuseums are forms of innovative museums that preserve, interpret and communicate the identity of the local communities. There are 4 ecomuseums in Friuli Venezia Giulia: the Ecomuseum of Waters of the Gemona area, the Lis Aganis Ecomuseum, the Val Resia Ecomuseum and the Mistirs Ecomuseum.
Ecomuseums are places where the population takes care of its heritage giving value to the landscape and to the material and immaterial cultural assets preserved there, protecting the territory in its physical and biological forms and manifestations, renewing life and work practices, local productions, traditional knowledge.
This new cultural offer proposes itineraries to be followed kind-heartedly to approach the life of the communities.
