Enemonzo is one of the oldest villages in the Carnia area. Its name probably comes from the German word "Aunemundus".
Enemonzo is located between mountains, so it is an ideal starting point for excursions to the mountain pastures and barns, where still today are produced delicious cheeses and fresh ricotta, following the ancient recipes. They are also selling at the cheese factory.
In the nearby village of Colza you can visit the small church of San Giorgio surrounded by greenery and tranquility while in the nearest Raveo village yuo will find the small convent of Castellano village, full of history and memory.
