On Saturday mornings in Piazza Indipendenza in Cervignano del Friuli you will find the Aquileia Earth Market, a rural market with local and seasonal produce, which preserve the food culture of the local communities and contribute to defending biodiversity.
The T.E.R.R.A. (Agricultural Recreational Rural Environmentally friendly Tourism) project was born to enhance the weekly market of local agricultural products, which for some years has been held in the historic market square of Cervignano del Friuli. In order to guarantee its continuity and development, it has been implemented with the geographical area brand Terre di Aquileia (Lands of Aquileia) and it has been included in the Earth Markets network established and run by the SlowFood Foundation.
In Cervignano you will find only selected producers: small farmers and craft producers who will provide you with the possibility to taste and buy natural, local and seasonal food.
